About the role
The post holder will be assisting Professor Sam Janes, Dr Neal Navani and Dr Ricky Thakrar, working within the Lung Cancer team and assisting in running the interventional bronchoscopy service. Duties will include working within the lung cancer team triaging bronchoscopy and lung cancer referrals and regular attendance at lung cancer clinics, EBUS and interventional bronchoscopy lists. The candidate will also work within the Lungs for Living Research Centre within UCL Respiratory facilitating research in the early diagnosis of lung cancer. This post is available from October for one year.
About you
The post holder is required to hold full GMC registration, MRCP and an NTN in Respiratory Medicine. They must have experience of audit/research and a knowledge of basic research methods and statistics. Specialist skills in bronchoscopy, EBUS and teaching are desirable with a willingness to learn new skills. The post holder will be required to work independently and as part of a team and be computer literate with excellent communication skills.
