About the role
This is a key senior professional post within the IOE providing high-level leadership and management support for the effective operation and delivery of the faculty’s educational portfolio of academic programmes.
These include all undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and teacher education courses. The post holder will lead a large team of over 90 fantastic professional staff responsible for the delivery of education administration, quality assurance and student support services associated with programmes across six large departments to 8, students.
A key element of the role is to develop staff to ensure that they can support the management of these programmes and provide the highest possible level of service to students.
This is a high-profile role across UCL, helping to shape and develop best practice with our colleagues in Student and Registry Services and the Vice-Provost Office for Education.

About you
With significant experience of delivering effective quality assurance processes and systems and working with external bodies to support compliance, you will also have experience of managing and nurturing a large team to work to their best at providing multiple services to a wide range of stakeholders.
This post is offered as a maternity cover, from 2nd March to 2nd December in the first instance.
