Duties and responsibilities are to conduct high-quality research within a range of RoRI projects, drawing on and applying a range of appropriate concepts and methodologies. Plus to work creatively and collaboratively as part of diverse project teams, including external partners. About The Role Given the breadth of RoRI’s work programme – the Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow could join us from a diverse range of disciplinary and methodological backgrounds, or with more applied experience in research policy, practice, funding and evaluation. The successful candidate will add their expertise to this mix: working with our partners to test interventions, and to generate and analyse data about the inner workings of the research system, and the impacts that research has in and on societies. Interviews will be held week commencing 21st July 2025. About You The successful applicant will have completed their PhD or have equivalent research or professional experience. They will have demonstrable interests in one or more areas of metascience and research on research systems, cultures or decision-making. They will be comfortable working in a flexible and collaborative research environment, and in gathering, analysing and/or modelling quantitative or qualitative data. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and a track record of writing and publication for academic, user and other audiences.
