The Uckfield Youth Club offers a safe space for young people to hang out with friends, have fun and socialise.
We are looking for volunteer Youth Workers to assist us with running our weekly sessions held at Victoria Pavilion. These take place in term time only, on Fridays from 5:30 until 8:30pm. You’ll be helping to create and run positive activities chosen by and developed with our young attendees, aged 11 to 13, that are safe, fun, welcoming and engaging.
Not only will you be interacting with young people and helping to run the activities, there is a tuck shop, team briefings and debriefs, as well as any other tasks appropriate to the running of the club. Volunteers are not required to come to every single session, however we request that they commit to any dates they can make in order for us to plan the sessions.
You will require a DBS check which we will provide, you will also need 2 references due to the nature of the role. Applicants must be over 18.
