About this opportunity

We’re looking for volunteers to assist us with the maintenance of our grounds, situated at The Oaks on Eastbourne Road. There are a variety of areas with which you can help out; those with gardening skills can help get the turf match ready and use those skills to great effect during the wetter months! There are also tasks suited to someone with DIY or building skills, such as general maintenance around the ground, and though a little more niche, netting often needs repairing.

If you’re someone who ticks either of these boxes, this could be your perfect role, utilising your skills to help out a local team in grassroots football.

Grounds maintenance takes place on weekdays during the day, all year round, with matches running from late July through to early May.

For more information, please either come in and see us at Wealden Volunteering, or call us on 01825 760019, or email us at office@wealdenvolunteering.org.uk.
