District Scout Council covering Uckfield, Buxted, Crowborough & surrounding areas. Scouting has over a hundred years history in the UK of teaching young people practical and life skills, and providing them with the confidence to tackle new challenges.

About this opportunity

We are seeking a Grant Writer to assist our organisation with researching, writing, and submitting proposals to secure funding for the growth and development of Scouting across the local area. You’ll become part of a team working together to support the role of a Lead Growth Worker, and through your efforts you’ll be helping to enable Ashdown Scouts to continue its important work.

This role is remote, however there are meetings held in person every 2 – 3 months in Uckfield. A DBS check will be required.
