Brighter Uckfield is a growing band of volunteers dedicated to maintaining the look and feel of our town β we keep it clean and litter free, clear ignored patches of land, paint neglected buildings, plant bulbs and flower displays, and generally give it some TLC.
We are seeking volunteers for Sunday mornings, both regular and occasional, who can help out between the hours of 9 and 11 am. Tasks include trimming bushes, clearing pavements, and sweeping public areas, as well as seasonal jobs such as leaf clearing in the Autumn, and watering in the summer.
There is no age limit for this role, youngsters are welcome to volunteer with their parents. This opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in gardening, both those with experience or looking to gain it.
