About this opportunity
We’re seeking volunteers for our exciting new face-to-face Befriending Connections Service, as part of our community outreach across East Sussex; From isolation to participation – be the link.
Do you have a couple of hours a week to make a real difference? We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support older people to reconnect with their community and reduce loneliness. Just a few hours can change someone’s week — and yours.
Applicants must be 18 years or over for this role, and will require a basic DBS check which will be covered by us. Travel expenses will be paid.
We are holding a FREE training and induction session on 15th July 2026, applicants will need to have applied by 6th July to be eligible for this.
