About this opportunity
We’re looking for cricket fans, or people with an interest in history, to be friendly roving guides for visitors to our historic Sheffield Park cricket pitch. This role will suit you if you’re enthusiastic and friendly, enjoy meeting people and like working as part of a team. An interest in history and cricket would be useful, but a willingness to learn is more important. This role will involve being outdoors for extended periods of time.
After an informal interview, a taster session and training, a new volunteer can start signing on the rota, which offers opportunities to volunteer on most days throughout the year. Travel expenses can be claimed.
