As Sales Manager at uCheck, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sales organisation. You’ll be responsible for leading and inspiring the uCheck sales team based in Exeter, while having the flexibility to be office-based in either Reading or Exeter. Regular travel to our Exeter hub will be a key part of the role not just to manage performance, but to build strong relationships, drive culture, and lead from the front. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and wants real influence. This isn’t a role for bystanders it’s for a driven, strategic leader ready to make a genuine impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing B2B sales team, identifying strengths and development areas to help individuals reach their full potential.
- Drive Performance: Use regular feedback, coaching, and KPI analysis to continuously raise standards and exceed targets.
- Champion Engagement: Create a positive, high-energy sales culture where people feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed.
- Lead with Insight: Use CRM data and sales metrics (Salesforce or similar) to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
- Innovate & Evolve: Contribute ideas and strategies that keep uCheck ahead in a rapidly evolving vetting and screening industry.
