As Sales Manager at uCheck, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where your leadership truly shapes the future. You’ll be responsible for leading and inspiring TWO high-performing sales teams, uniting them under one powerful vision and driving collective success across the business. While the role is based in Exeter, you’ll also enjoy regular travel to our Reading hub, giving you the opportunity to stay closely connected with both teams, build strong relationships, and lead from the front.

About the Position: As Sales Manager at uCheck, you’ll flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your core mission: lead, coach, and drive our Sales Team to new heights. Your passion for client service will fuel business growth and help uphold a culture of excellence within the team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Motivate and Lead: Use your ability to inspire and guide, identify strengths and areas for development, ensuring each team member fulfils their potential and hits targets.
  • Performance Enhancement: Continuously lift team performance through regular feedback, coaching, and support. Celebrate wins and provide steady help when things get tough.
  • Engagement is Key: Keep team engagement high; when colleagues feel supported and motivated, salespeople truly shine.

What We Expect You to Bring:

  • Proven outbound sales experience; you’re comfortable proactively reaching out to potential clients, handling objections, and closing deals.
  • A track record of B2B sales leadership, with the ability to set processes, coach a high-performing team, and consistently exceed targets.
  • Strong mentorship skills; you know what “good” looks like and can coach your team to deliver B2B-sales excellence.
  • Relentless drive; “nearly at target” isn’t in your vocabulary. You’re hands-on, goal-oriented and committed to pushing your team to excel.
  • Analytical insight & data-driven mindset; you’re comfortable analysing KPIs, using CRM data (e.g. Salesforce or similar) to monitor and drive performance.
  • Innovative thinking & results-oriented; in a rapidly evolving vetting and screening industry, you’ll contribute new ideas and deliver results that push uCheck forward.
