The post-holder will support UCFB's marketing, brand objectives and student recruitment through high-quality social media, content and communications activity.
With day-to-day ownership of UCFB's organic social media channels, website and digital foot-print, the role will plan, create and publish engaging content, deliver targeted communications, support wider external communications and use performance insight to increase awareness, engagement, leads, applications and enrolment across Undergraduate, Postgraduate
- Main activities
- 1.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to support overall Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Executive Education recruitment with a key focus on generating leads, increasing brand awareness and supporting our digital footprint.
- 2.
Manage the day-to-day delivery of UCFB's organic social media channels, including Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, Facebook, X and You Tube, covering scheduling, publishing and community management.
- 3.
Support and maintain a forward-looking social media content calendar, proactively identifying stories and content opportunities from across UCFB and coordinating activity with Marketing, Design, Content and wider internal teams. written copy and live or reactive content, attending UCFB campuses, student, recruitment and industry events when required.
- 4.
Brief and coordinate creative assets for social media and marketing communications, ensuring content is accurate, accessible, on brand and suitable for the intended audience and platform.
- 5.
Monitor social media trends, platform developments, competitor activity and emerging content formats, testing new approaches where appropriate and applying learning to future activity.
- 6.
Research, write and optimise news articles, SEO-led articles and wider content marketing pieces for the UCFB website, using audience insight and search best practice to support organic visibility, brand awareness, engagement and student recruitment.
- 7.
Support UCFB's PR, earned media and external communications activity by identifying newsworthy stories, drafting website and news content, gathering quotes and case studies, and supporting communications with partners and external organisations.
- 8.
Use the CRM system to prepare and deliver targeted communications to prospective students, applicants, current students, alumni, supporting both recruitment and con-version activity and monitoring campaign success.
- 9.
Support with updating relevant website content, campaign landing pages, listing pro-files and partner websites to ensure UCFB's digital footprint is accurate, timely and on brand.
- 10. Support integrated marketing campaigns around key seasonal events and dates, with particular ownership of organic social media activation and content requirements.
- 11.
Analyse the performance of social media, website and communications activity using channel analytics, Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio, bringing forward recommendations to improve reach, engagement and conversion.
- 12.
Manage relevant communications projects and tasks in our project management system, working collaboratively across the Marketing team to meet deadlines and supporting wider marketing activity and distribution of materials when required.
