UCFB are looking to recruit a Product Owner (Academic) to join the Transformation and Technology department. The Product Owner (Academic) is primarily responsible for the support, management and maintenance of all Academic / Teaching Technology, Systems, Software and Applications, including but not limited to the UCFB VLE applications - Moodle, Moodle Workplace, Turnitin and working closely with key Stakeholders and other Product Owners and vendors to ensure we provide our students with the best learning experience.
Main Activities:
- Diagnoses service delivery problems and initiates actions to maintain or improve levels of service.
- Performs demand management analysis and planning activities within a specific institutional or operational area.
- Manages application enhancements to improve institutional performance.
- Where appropriate, designs large or complex systems and undertakes impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs.
- Ensures system software is provisioned and configured to support the achievement of service objectives, institutional requirements, relevant permissions and data security requirements.
- Provides operational guidance by allocating tasks, monitoring performance, supporting skill development, and fostering effective team collaboration.
