Are you a skilled and passionate Science Technician looking to make a real impact in Adult education? We're excited to invite a dedicated professional to join our amazing Access to HE department, based across our Citylabs and Nicholls Campuses in Manchester.

In this permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week, term time only), you'll play a vital part in supporting the delivery of our Access to Nursing and Medical Science courses. Your responsibilities will include preparing and maintaining practical experiments that inspire and engage our learners.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Level 2 English & Mathematics
  • Industry relevant qualification as applicable by specialist function
  • First Aid qualification (or be prepared to work towards within first year)
  • Specific relevant industry experience
  • Specific relevant specialist skill
  • Ability to work as a team or individually
  • Working to deadlines
  • Proven experience as a Science Technician in an educational setting
  • Strong background in supporting practical science at Level 3 across Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CLEAPSS and COSHH regulations
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for science education
