Working in a fast-paced production environment, your primary responsibility will be monitoring and supervising a team by removing, inspecting, folding, and packing completed coffee products ready for customer dispatch on time.

The Role

  • Train, monitor, and supervise shift packing line staff to ensure maximum efficiency and product quality, ensuring all coffee products are packed to customer specifications and machines are properly set up and functioning well.
  • Minimize waste and report machine problems promptly to the Shift Manager to maintain maximum machine efficiency, while adhering to health, safety, and personal hygiene rules.
  • Ensure all clean-down procedures for decaffeinated and organic products are followed according to work instructions, with all relevant paperwork completed accurately.
  • Perform quality tests as specified in work instructions to ensure coffee meets the required specifications and is packed according to online job sheet instructions.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks and duties as requested during your shift.

The Person

  • Previous experience operating industrial food packing machinery.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency to meet and exceed production goals.
  • Attention to detail, with vigilance for material defects and quality issues.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to uphold safety, food safety, and production quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Available for a rotating double shift pattern: Weekdays 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm.

Salary: Starting salary £26,460.
