We are looking for a high calibre NAC expert with a passion for consumers and brands to join the team at UCC. The successful candidate will create a retail strategy from scratch and drive the growth of our branded and private label offer. They will also have line management of 2 NAMs who will look after our existing retail and café business.
The Role:
- Creating and implementing the Strategy with UCC cross channel teams to win new business in Grocery and Out Of Home channels.
- Line management of 2 NAMs to develop their capability.
- Partnering with Senior Marketing lead to create compelling insights to secure new opportunities.
- Holding P&L responsibility, you will deliver against challenging yet exciting growth objectives and demonstrate high business acumen across the channels.
- Clarity of forecasting and accountability for your teams number at all times across the key drivers: Coffee to Go (smart vending proposition), Side products (syrups, cleaning solutions).
The Person:
- A proven highly driven results focused sales leader with broad commercial acumen.
- A great influencer and communicator at all levels.
- A superb collaborator, comfortable working with multiple departments.
- Able to demonstrate skills/experience in the following:
- Experience gained from the away-from-home and/or retail grocery sectors.
- Strong preference for experience from a blue-chip background and FMCG training.
- Experience of senior selling across different channels including convenience, multiples, foodservice and Grocery.
- High drive and tenacity to deliver growth in customers/sales/volumes.
- Proven track record of securing new business of scale.
- Proven experience of creating and implementing strategies to win new business.
- Experience with Category, Brands and Solution Selling.
- Multiskilled negotiator.
- Strong numeric and data analytical skills.
- Commercially astute.
