Make your mark for patients. We are looking for a National Market Access Lead to join us in our UK & Ireland team, based in our Slough, UK offices.
About the role: Delivering optimal HTA strategies for UCB assets and enabling access to our medicines, while developing and executing high‑quality Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R) strategies and HTA submissions for the UK and Ireland.
Who you’ll work with: This position reports to the Head of HTA UK and Ireland.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and drive HTA submission strategy using stakeholder insights and market knowledge to achieve successful outcomes for patients, the NHS, and UCB.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop HTA and P&R strategies that drive access and reimbursement across the UK and Ireland.
- Lead national HTA submissions through NICE, SMC, AWMSG and NCPE.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with HTA stakeholders and leaders in health economics and payer value.
- Provide HTA expertise to internal teams, coordinating project plans and leading submission teams.
- Serve as the face of UCB for external HTA communications, including representation at committee meetings when required.

- Bachelor’s degree required (master’s or PhD preferred in Health Economics or related discipline).
- Substantial health economics experience within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver at business‑unit level complexity.
- Experience with Health Technology Appraisal submissions and economic evaluation concepts.
- Working knowledge of the UK political and healthcare policy environment.
- Strong analytical, project‑management and high‑quality scientific writing skills.
