We are looking for a Associate Scientist – Downstream Purification who is collaborative and analytical and collaborative to join our Biologics Process Sciences team, based in our campus in Slough, UK.
About The Role
You will be responsible for providing support for CMC process development activities of antibody-based therapeutics within the Biologics Process Sciences (BPS) department. Your work will span the provision of well-characterised processes supporting drug substance manufacture at various stages of drug development, from Pre-clinical to Clinical Phase I, II, and III studies, as well as Process Validation support activities.
You will apply technical problem-solving skills and contribute to scientific discussions. These activities will require you to build relationships and work collaboratively with members of the team.

What You’ll Do
- Undertake assigned activities following instructions or documented procedures carefully.
- Generate accurate and reliable data within the required timeframes.
- Deliver project results and share data for team interpretation sessions.
- Compile collected data for inclusion in technical reports or publications.
- Maintain high standards in record keeping and documentation practices consistently.
- Report scientific findings to the team through presentations and informal discussions.
