Overview
Asset Partnership Data Strategy Lead role at UCB, Slough, Berkshire, United Kingdom. This hybrid position requires a minimum of 40% on-site presence. You will join our new Global Data Acquisition team and partner with Data Partnerships colleagues to understand the data landscape in the US, EU, and Japan, and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify use cases, define data requirements and the overall data strategy to support the development and launch of our drug assets.
Who You’ll Work With
You will work with Data Acquisition team members, Integrated Insights Hub Leads, IT, the Data Office, Real-World Evidence (RWE), advanced analytics, translational medicine, medical leads, asset leads, regional and functional commercial leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Creating and implementing short- and long-term data roadmaps to deliver actionable insights and maintain competitive advantage.
- Maintaining expertise in healthcare data (e.g., claims, EMR, labs, genetics) and analytics methodologies.
- Guiding data selection across all product development and commercialization stages.
- Partnering with global stakeholders to understand business needs, define use cases, and prioritize data requirements.
- Collaborating with data acquisition teams to identify and assess data assets.
- Ensuring value realization through pilot programs and rapid implementation with analytics teams.
- Promoting cross-functional collaboration with data, IT, compliance, and business teams.
- Driving data innovation within therapeutic areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in a quantitative area; Master/Doctorate in a quantitative area is preferred
- Minimum of 8-10+ years’ experience in advising stakeholders on data acquisition strategy for pre- and post-launch
- Minimum of 8-10+ years’ experience working with various forms of pharmaceutical data
