Make your mark for patients. We are looking for a Team Assistant who is organised, collaborative and proactive to join our UK & Ireland Immunology team, based in our Slough, UK offices.
About the role
You will help the UK & Ireland team run smoothly by providing high-quality administrative, operational and coordination support. You will work closely with the Head of Function, leadership team members and wider teams to manage meetings, travel, expenses, projects, budgets and compliance-related activities. You will be an important point of coordination, helping colleagues stay organised, informed and aligned.
Who you will work with
You will work with the relevant Head of Function, leadership team members, brand or divisional teams, local assistants, procurement, finance partners, learning and development colleagues and external suppliers. You will also connect with colleagues across cross-functional teams, supporting projects, meetings and team activities that help deliver local business priorities.
What you will do
- You will coordinate meetings and events, including room bookings, logistics, meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
- You will manage diaries, travel arrangements, accommodation bookings, receipts and expense submissions for relevant leaders and teams.
- You will support projects by creating suppliers, purchase orders, invoices, e-payments and compliant document storage.
- You will be responsible for helping maintain budget files, OPEX overviews and payment proof with finance partners.
- You will coordinate supplier interactions, quotes, RFP support and procurement follow-up from an organisational perspective.
- You will support onboarding, team equipment, Teams sites, reports and back-up support across the assistant community.
Education, experience and skills
You will ideally bring commercial training or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is welcome but not essential. You will have 1+ years’ experience in project coordination or administrative support in a cross-functional environment. You will communicate clearly in written and spoken English with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. You will be confident using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Guided Buying and document management systems. You will have experience supporting budgets, invoices, contracts, expenses or audit-ready documentation.
