As the Evidence Synthesis Lead, you will hold a senior global access leadership role, with accountability for shaping and driving payer-focused access strategy across assigned assets and indications. You will ensure that payer evidence, pricing-relevant insights, and value narratives are embedded in asset strategy, governance decision-making, negotiation readiness, and lifecycle planning. Shaping the global access strategy, you will translate complex payer, HTA, and evidence landscapes into clear strategic choices that enable confident decisions. Acting as a strategic integrator across Market Access, Pricing, Real-World Evidence (RWE), Health Economics, Clinical, and Asset Strategy, you will translate complex evidence landscapes into clear strategic options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
Who You’ll Work With
You will report to the Head of Payer Evidence Synthesis and work closely with Asset Sub Teams, Integrated Strategic Evidence Generation (ISEG) teams, global and regional Market Access colleagues, Pricing, RWE, Health Economics, Clinical Development, and the HTA & Payers community. You will also engage with senior governance forums to represent the payer perspective and guide strategic decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the access strategy lead for the assigned asset, embedding payer perspectives across the lifecycle.
- Translate payer insights, evidence gaps, and market dynamics into clear strategic options and recommendations.
- Align global, regional, and local teams around a shared, decision-ready access strategy.
- Lead the development of Global Value Dossiers, HTA dossiers, payer value narratives, and related deliverables.
- Ensure payer evidence supports HTA outcomes, negotiations, and lifecycle access decisions.
- Drive early HTA engagement strategies and ensure readiness for EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) requirements (where applicable).
- Integrate external payer, HTA, and policy intelligence into forward-looking access strategies.
- Partner with the Strategic Pricing teams to translate payer evidence into pricing-relevant insights and negotiation readiness.
- Define and prioritise payer-driven RWE questions in partnership with RWE Strategy leads.
- Enable, coach, and upskill regional and local teams to drive high-quality access execution (where appropriate).
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry across Market Access, HTA, pricing, or evidence-generation roles.
- 3-6 years’ experience in global or regional Market Access, HEOR, HTA, pricing, or consulting positions.
- Proven ability to lead asset-level access strategy in complex, matrix organisations.
- Strong experience partnering with Pricing Strategy on launch and lifecycle decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PhD) preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, executive communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
