Overview
Senior Real World Evidence Expert at UCB, leading global RWE studies to inform development, regulatory, and payer decisions. You will shape asset-level evidence strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advance innovative methods and data sources to address healthcare challenges. This role offers impact across the product lifecycle, contributing to publications and external communications while strengthening UCB’s data capabilities. Responsibilities
- Lead design, execution, and timely delivery of complex global RWE studies within budget
- Develop study concepts, protocols, and analysis plans aligned with evidence objectives
- Drive epidemiology, disease burden, comparative effectiveness, safety, and post-launch evidence initiatives
- Lead secondary data studies and contribute to primary data collection teams
- Collaborate with external vendors, academics, and medical experts for high-quality studies
- Interpret and communicate study findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Support asset-level RWE strategies and evidence plans
- Identify and implement innovative study designs, advanced analytics, and new real-world data sources
- Contribute to scientific publications, abstracts, and external communications
- Act as trusted subject matter expert and champion robust methodologies
Key requirements
- Master's degree, PhD, MD, or equivalent qualification in epidemiology, outcomes research, health economics, biostatistics, life sciences, or related discipline
- Significant experience designing and delivering real‑world evidence studies using primary and/or secondary data sources
- Strong expertise in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research, health economics, biostatistics, data science, or related quantitative disciplines
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consulting, or academic research environments
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex evidence into actionable insights
- Passion for innovation and AI-enabled approaches within real-world evidence generation
