Overview
In this PCOR Lead role, you will shape patient-centered outcome evidence for PRO/COA strategies across development to lifecycle management. You will collaborate cross-functionally to generate robust patient experience data that informs regulatory and HTA decisions and demonstrates meaningful patient benefits of UCB solutions. You will lead scientific dissemination and external partnerships to advance methodological frameworks. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of PRO/COA evidence strategy from early development through lifecycle management
- Oversee research activities for selection, development, validation, interpretation, and implementation of PRO/COA measures
- Provide SME input into strategic and regulatory documents, study protocols, and analysis plans
- Contribute to regulatory and HTA briefing packages and interactions
- Lead scientific dissemination via publications and abstracts according to publication strategies
- Build relationships with external groups to advance frameworks for patient experience evidence
- Act as an ambassador to promote the value of patient experience evidence within the organization
Key requirements
- Master's degree, PhD, MD, or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific discipline
- Significant experience in PRO/COA, or patient preference research within biopharmaceutical, medical device, or academic settings
- Expertise in PRO/COA development, validation, and implementation with strong qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Experience in clinical development, regulatory and HTA interactions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization
