Overview
In this role you will translate high-value business questions into integrated data products across domains, ensuring data is trusted, governed, and ready for analytics and AI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data capabilities with portfolio priorities and measure impact for continuous value realization. You will validate data and AI-enabled capabilities with business stakeholders and drive adoption. This is a transformation-focused position within the Ruby program, offering the chance to shape how data unlocks business outcomes and patient value.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-value questions with business and process leaders to improve decisions via data
- Translate questions into prioritized data product opportunities with clear requirements and success metrics
- Combine data products across domains to form fit-for-purpose solutions
- Define shared business concepts and context for cross-domain data products
- Align reusable data capabilities with portfolio priorities in partnership with data product leads and analysts
- Validate data and AI capabilities for accuracy and fitness for purpose with stakeholders
- Ensure data products are discoverable, governed, scalable, and ready for analytics/AI
- Monitor adoption, usage, and business impact to drive continuous improvement
Key requirements
- Bachelor in related field
- Experience connecting business strategy, process improvement, data, analytics, and AI to measurable outcomes
- Experience translating business questions into data/analytical/tech requirements across functions
- Experience combining multiple domain data products into solutions that answer business questions
- Experience defining business concepts and information models for cross-domain data products
- Experience partnering with business analysts on specifications, acceptance criteria, testing, and success measures
- Strong business acumen, data fluency, systems thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder influence, and facilitation skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences environments is preferred, with collaborative and accountable approach
