Overview
In this Global Head role, you drive the end-to-end delivery of clinical programs from early to late stages and post-approval studies, ensuring patient-centered delivery and high-quality data. You set the global operating model for clinical development and lead senior teams across locations, balancing timelines, budgets, and risk. You collaborate across functions, external partners, and patient groups to improve participant experience and trial effectiveness. This is a strategic, cross-functional position with a strong focus on value delivery for patients and the organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead global clinical program delivery across phase I–III and post-approval evidence generation
- Direct resource allocation and operational contributions to study concepts, development plans, country selection, and site strategy
- Advance participant recruitment, engagement, representation, and inclusive trial design using patient insights
- Assess and implement digital and non-digital innovations to improve research delivery and participant experience
- Build, mentor and retain high-performing global leadership teams with a coherent operating model and clear accountability
- Represent clinical operations in leadership forums, due diligence, external collaborations, and cross-functional improvement initiatives
Key requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Extensive leadership experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or CROs with oversight of clinical program management functions
- Deep knowledge of clinical development and trial operations from early-stage studies through submission and post-approval research
- Proven track record leading leaders and cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organization
- Inclusive people leadership, coaching, negotiation, and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Sound judgement, analytical thinking, budgeting, vendor management, risk, quality, and GCP knowledge
