The Digital Services business unit focuses on leveraging data science, technology, and enterprise architecture to enhance UCAS' digital products and services. It is dedicated to developing and improving customer‑centric digital solutions, ensuring seamless and secure online experiences for all users.

The Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in delivering a customer‑centric digital transformation programme, focused on enabling multi‑channel personalisation and seamless customer engagement across web, email, and CRM platforms. This role is responsible for designing and governing end‑to‑end solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring scalable, data‑driven, and integrated experiences that drive customer value and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define end‑to‑end solution architectures across Salesforce and integrated platforms
  • Design scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Personalisation
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards
  • Lead architectural decision‑making, ensuring optimal use of Salesforce capabilities and integrations
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless, integrated customer journeys across channels
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Strong experience as a Solution Architect within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360), including Customer 360, identity resolution, and activation
  • Experience with Salesforce Personalisation and strong experience in integration and API design
Desirable Skills:
  • Salesforce certifications (Solution Architect, Application Architect, System Architect)
  • Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) certifications – highly desirable and a key shortlisting criterion
  • Proven delivery experience with Data Cloud in production environments
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud
  • Exposure to Databricks
Package:
  • Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + benefits
