About The Role: This post holder takes responsibility for leading on the marketing for one of UCAS key customer segments. From go to market and product launch to determining positioning, brand, competitive analysis, features and USPs, lead generation and customer success activities, you will be the champion for your product category or audience segment and help grow its customer base and meet revenue targets. This means you work with a cross‑functional team across Sales, Product, Operations and more, taking responsibility for the marketing strategy from beginning to end.
Key accountabilities:
- Developing and managing the marketing strategy
- Working closely with sales and product teams to identify opportunities to drive value for customers and grow your customer segment
- Develop a well‑structured B2B sales funnel, continually optimizing and refining the UCAS sales process.
- Define and lead on the development of the UCAS B2B brand story and proposition for your segment, bringing it to life through engaging and creative content
- Prepare clear briefs to product communications and promotional campaigns and analyze and present results to stakeholders
- Develop value propositions to customers articulating the product description, benefits, and values and provide training and sales material for sales colleagues.
Skills, Qualifications, And Experience:
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, with an in depth understanding of the education or commercial market segment we operate in
- Proven track record aligning sales and marketing activity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- A track record of marketing experience
- A powerful and persuasive communicator, who can influence and inform internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of results delivery and excellent project management skills.
- A track record of delivering tangible revenue outcomes
- Possess commercial acumen.
- Extensive experience in building and nurturing key stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to think creatively, whilst also being able to implement outcomes.
