We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to own the full 360° sales cycle. This is a highly autonomous, field-based role where you'll generate opportunities, run product trials, close profitable business and become a trusted partner to customers across the UK. Key Responsibilities

  • Win new business across non-FMCG applications and industrial manufacturing sectors
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound enquiries
  • Conduct face-to-face customer meetings across the UK, from shopfloor operators to directors
  • Deliver and support product trials that convert into long-term commercial opportunities
  • Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth and repeat business
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, quotes, forecasts and sales activity

Requirements

  • Proven track record of business development success in a technical B2B sales environment
  • Experience selling into non-FMCG markets such as product assembly, filter manufacturing, bookbinding or paper wrapping
  • Comfortable owning a true 360° sales role, from cold calling through to face-to-face meetings and closing deals
  • Able to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from shopfloor to boardroom
  • Formal sales training and at least two years of consistent new business success
  • Based within a commutable distance of Northwich and willing to travel extensively across the UK
