Are you a natural storyteller who can bring technical topics to life in a way that truly connects with a practical, trade-focused audience? Are you comfortable both behind the scenes and occasionally in front of a camera? If so, this opportunity could be the perfect fit.

A well-established British manufacturer with over 25 years of heritage is on the lookout for a proactive and personable Content Marketing Executive to join their small but ambitious team. The business has big growth plans and a strong, people-first culture where everyone’s voice matters.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the company’s storytelling - crafting blogs, video scripts, social media posts, product guides, customer stories, and more. Working closely with a digitally savvy marketing lead, you’ll execute a content strategy that makes technical information approachable, while adding a touch of personality and fun that aligns with the brand’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, write, and edit content for multiple channels including blogs, social media, brochures, and email campaigns.
  • Translate technical information into engaging, benefit-led content tailored to installers, electricians, and other trade professionals.
  • Interview customers and internal team members to capture authentic stories.
  • Support and build online communities by engaging with comments, messages, and social conversations.
  • Craft and participate in video content - from scripting to presenting.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure messaging hits the mark.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and track content performance.
  • Champion the 'They Ask, You Answer' philosophy, producing educational and value-driven material.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A confident writer and communicator, able to create approachable content with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable interviewing people and turning conversations into compelling narratives.
  • A 'doer' - highly organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Friendly, relatable, and capable of connecting with trade and technical audiences.
  • Open to being on camera (or willing to become comfortable with it!).
  • Background in content writing, journalism, PR, marketing, or similar fields.
  • An understanding of construction or trade sectors is a bonus but not essential. Being able to 'speak their language’ is what counts.

You’ll be joining a lively, close-knit team where hard work is celebrated, ideas are welcomed, and there’s a strong emphasis on respect, collaboration, and having a little fun along the way.
