We are a well-established and growing manufacturing business operating within a modern production environment. Due to continued demand and investment in digital print technology, we are looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team.
Role Responsibilities
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic digital printing machines with precision and care
- Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines according to job specifications
- Monitor print runs to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Load and unload materials, ensuring correct stock handling and minimal waste
- Carry out routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Identify and report equipment faults or quality issues promptly
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and quality
- Provide flexible support across other operational areas when required
Requirements Skills & Experience Required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow work instructions, technical drawings, and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills and confidence using digital interfaces
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous experience operating digital print machines (automatic/semi-automatic preferred)
- Experience with inkjet, laser, or UV digital print systems
- Knowledge of colour management and finishing processes
