Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and proactive HR & Compliance Officer to join a dynamic and values-driven business based in Baston. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • As the onsite HR lead, you will support both HR and compliance operations, working closely with the senior leadership team and departmental managers.
  • Managing day-to-day HR operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Providing guidance and support on employee relations issues.
  • Administering the HRIS system and supporting payroll processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, and internal procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Salary £33,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
