We're looking for an exceptional Head of Key Account Management to lead a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of a successful and ambitious business. With a turnover of approximately Β£14 million, this is a commercially significant role that requires a strong leader who understands both sales and relationship management at a strategic level.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of six Key Account Managers
- Driving account retention, customer loyalty and revenue growth
- Building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts
- Working closely with Business Development Managers to ensure smooth customer handovers
- Delivering against sales, retention and growth targets
- Creating an engaging and motivating team environment
- Monitoring performance, setting objectives and driving accountabilityContributing to strategic business growth initiatives
- Ensuring exceptional customer experience across the account portfolio
Requirements
We're looking for a commercially astute leader who combines sales expertise with exceptional relationship management skills.

- Proven leadership experience managing a successful sales, account management, or customer relationship team
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets
- Experience managing key customer accounts and developing long-term partnerships
- Background within the construction, building products, construction supplies, manufacturing, distribution, or related sectors
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to influence, motivate and inspire others
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
