We're looking for a proactive and organised Production Manager who can lead from the front, inspire a team, and ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

The Role

As Production Manager, you'll take responsibility for organising and running production processes and facilities, ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll oversee production operatives and play a key role in maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage workshop throughput to meet delivery schedules
  • Communicate delays or issues proactively to customer services
  • Lead, review, and develop production operatives through regular performance management
  • Manage purchasing and storage of workshop consumables
  • Oversee the T&E process, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time

Requirements

About You

You're a confident leader with a strong background in manufacturing or workshop environments. You know how to get the best out of people while maintaining high standards and staying calm under pressure.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading teams
  • A qualification in manufacturing, assembly, or prefabrication
  • At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing/workshop setting
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities
