This is a key leadership role where you will drive the business towards exceeding growth targets by managing and coaching the sales and customer success teams while maintaining your own portfolio of clients and prospects. The Role
- Oversee the performance of the sales and customer success teams, ensuring they meet and exceed objectives.
- Implement and refine sales processes to improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across multiple product categories, with a focus on high-volume consumables.
- Track sales performance, set individual KPIs, and identify training opportunities to enhance team success.
- Engage directly with key stakeholders across Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), including senior-level decision-makers, to articulate the company's value proposition and develop the brand within the MAT market.
- Manage a personal portfolio of clients and prospects, identifying and closing new business opportunities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced sales environment, with a passion for developing and motivating a sales team.
- A strong personal sales history, with the ability to win new business and build relationships at senior stakeholder levels.
- Strategic thinking skills to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with frameworks, tenders, and contracts.
- An organised and structured work approach, with a strong focus on achieving results.
- The ability to travel as needed for client meetings.
