Overview

Salary: Β£30,000 – Β£35,000 + uncapped bonus (20% of salary as baseline OTE)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week – office based. (part time hours would be considered, pro rata)

Are you a confident communicator who thrives on the buzz of outbound calling and building strong client relationships? This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Executive to join a growing team with big ambitions.

In this role, you\’ll focus on generating new business opportunities for the servicing division of an SME company, expanding service contracts, compliance support, and maintenance packages. You\’ll be given warm opportunities to start with, but the role is 90% proactive prospecting, so resilience, confidence, and hunger to succeed are key.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Driving outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
  • Building relationships with architects, contractors, care facilities, and education providers.
  • Managing and tracking opportunities using HubSpot CRM.
  • Coordinating with the Business Development Manager and service team on pipeline progress.
  • Attending occasional industry events (around five per year) to represent the team and generate leads.
  • Consistently achieving weekly KPIs and progressing leads into booked appointments and service contracts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (B2B experience preferred).
  • A confident telephone manner with the ability to handle pushbacks and objections.
  • Organised, proactive, and results-driven with excellent time management skills.
  • CRM experience (HubSpot ideal).
  • A bubbly personality with natural rapport-building skills, and a genuine team player.
