Your role

Are you an experienced Quant developer analyst with experience in derivatives pricing, risk and data science?
Are you in innovative thinking and enjoy building tools?
We are looking for someone who can work closely with trader and sales, utilizing a variety of technologies to provide fast time-to-market and applications.
You will be responsible for developing high quality trading and sales tools for the desk with a side focus of integrating proven solutions
– The candidate will be participating in the design and development of cutting-edge infrastructure, systems, and applications (both client and server side) used by Front Office to provide streamlined and revenue-generating services to our clients, examples of which include:
o Working as part of the team developing the next generation Trading and structuring pricing capabilities.
o Designing and building a microservice-based Pre-Trade and pricing platform for the Global Equity Derivatives business.
o Migrating Excel-based pricing / param / risk management tools onto service-based Web apps on strategic Azure cloud Analytics platform
– The candidate will be expected to closely liaise with trading, sales, structuring and the technology groups in the Equity Derivatives business. The products spread across exchange listed, OTC and exotics.
– The candidate will be able to rapidly learn in-depth knowledge and gain experience of Equity Derivatives trading / risk management from both technology and business perspective.

Your team

You’ll be working within the ACQA Quant Platform team working with the wider QAD team, Quant Core platforms & Valuation model quant teams both locally and globally. In addition, you will be working closely with global business stakeholders to elicit and review requirements

Your expertise

• This position is open to professionals with >4 years of experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience can be considered.
• Minimum Bachelor degree from a recognized University. Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics majors preferred.
• An excellent team player with a good balance of strategic view & rapid application development.
• Strong technical skills in at least one core language (Java / C#) and one scripting language (Python, Javascript / ReactJS + TypeScript).
• Solid background in data structure and algorithms.
• Knowledge of Web development will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Equity Derivatives will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, KDB, Excel/VBA and Unix programming will be a plus.
• Good understanding of testing and familiarity with different testing approaches. Familiarity of TDD / BDD will be a plus.
