We’re looking for a Payments & Client Service Specialist to:

  • Manage the input and release of payments for the WMUK & Jersey business.
  • Cross-check that the instruction has been given in line with current and valid indemnities for the client. This includes verification of authorised signatures and maintaining that only authorised clients, Powers of Attorney or Third Party Mandate holders give instructions.

  • Liaise with key internal service providers and stakeholders (including Client Advisors, Client Account Managers, Desk & Segment Heads) within the bank to ensure the timely execution/resolution of CPT related queries and obtaining the appropriate exemptions, waivers and approvals.
  • Drive improvements to the overall client experience by working with other areas of the bank to ensure a seamless service.
  • Ensure all risk management controls are adhered to in order to identify and mitigate any potential risk and appropriate management information (MI) is produced.

Your team

The Centralised Payment Team is an established team which sits in the business aligned Front Support Organisation and owns the payment lifecycle for WM UK & Jersey clients. The team will input payments, conduct call backs, check, approve and release payments. They will be highly client focused, multi‑skilled and commercially aware, with a keen sense of the importance of process and best practice in a highly regulated business.
