Overview

In this role within UBS's EMEA Credit Market Risk team in London, you will review daily trading activity and risks across Credit portfolios, engaging with traders to challenge complex transactions and risk drivers. You will create transparent, timely risk information for senior stakeholders and participate in cross-team projects within Credit and the wider Market Risk function. You will work with global colleagues to maintain a robust, independent view of credit market risks and contribute to risk-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily trading activity and portfolio risks across Credit portfolios, focusing on Credit Solutions desks
  • Discuss and challenge complex transactions and risk drivers with Trading, Market Risk colleagues, and senior stakeholders
  • Provide transparent, timely risk information and relevant advice to stakeholders
  • Participate in wider Credit projects and initiatives and collaborate with the broader Market Risk team (FX, Rates & Credit)

Key requirements

  • University degree in mathematics, economics, finance, or another quantitative discipline with proven Market Risk experience in Credit and/or Rates
  • strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • ability to communicate complex topics clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • high numerical accuracy and attention to detail with a focus on high-quality outcomes
  • collaborative, globally oriented mindset with ability to build cross-team relationships
