Overview
In this role within UBS's London Market Risk team, you will provide independent market risk views on Equities and help ensure risk is measured, understood, and controlled. You will engage with Trading and senior leadership to review trades and risk positions, acting as a subject-matter expert on risk projects. The role sits on the trading floor and emphasizes collaboration across Trading, Risk Control, Finance, and Quant Analytics to support risk-informed decision making. You will apply quantitative techniques to real-world challenges and explore AI-led optimization of workflows, always aligning with risk standards and policy.

Responsibilities
- Monitor equities risk exposures and market developments, ensuring accurate measurement and control
- Engage with Trading and Senior Management to discuss, challenge, and review trades, risk positions, and emerging risk themes
- Serve as subject-matter expert on risk projects and provide analytical insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Trading, Risk Control, Finance, Quantitative Analytics, Business Management, and Operations
