What You’ll Do
- Author and edit real‑time and thematic market commentary, turning granular market knowledge into clear, concise, and engaging insights.
- Contribute to the day‑to‑day operation of the UBS Live Desk platform, ensuring continuous, accurate, and timely market coverage.
- Shape and refine investment views and market narratives for a diversified institutional audience.
- Ensure all content meets editorial standards, compliance requirements, and UBS tone of voice.
- Produce and manage multi‑format content, including written commentary, videos, podcasts, and live updates.
- Contribute to fast‑paced live market coverage, reacting to macro events, data releases, and market moves.
- Maintain and grow an engaging digital presence across UBS distribution platforms.
- Coordinate the distribution of content across multiple internal and external channels.
- Work with stakeholders to optimise content reach, timing, and relevance.
- Use data to support the evolution of content strategy, format innovation, and client engagement.
- Operate as part of a global, multidisciplinary team, embedded within Global Markets.
- Help direct and enhance content strategy across regions, with a particular focus on North America and global macro themes.
- Contribute to improving editorial workflows, production processes, and content quality at scale.
Your expertise
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- A good working understanding of financial markets, macroeconomics, and market structure.
- Experience as a financial journalist, newswire reporter, editor, or markets content specialist.
- Proven ability to handle fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
- Strong proofreading, copy editing, and editorial judgment.
