Overview

Your role: Are you a client focused individual with a passion for business enablement and building long-term partnerships? Are you a strong communicator with a wealth of experience in cleared derivatives? We’re looking for someone like you to:

  • Partner with Sales to drive new opportunities forward, including pitches for new business and client delivery from onboarding to go live.
  • Deliver UBS’ product, service and platform capabilities to clients, proactively identifying ways to partner on new business or service optimization.
  • Consult with clients to build a deep understanding of their needs and challenges, prioritising technology enhancements that address the product and platform solutions required.
  • Deliver content and insights on market structure themes, including product, technology and regulatory themes, to differentiate UBS as a strategic clearing partner and deepen existing relationships.
  • Manage relationships with exchanges, CCPs and other market infrastructure partners, to drive business development and ensure clients are informed and supported on market developments.
  • Own and optimise the client experience for Clearing clients, acting as a trusted point of contact for ongoing service management oversight throughout the client lifecycle.

Your team: You will be working in the Clearing Relationship Management team in London, within the Clearing Business. We are a client facing team focused on client business enablement and optimisation, and service management oversight across cleared derivatives. We provide clients with product, service and platform expertise, alongside insights through derivatives market structure content. Our coverage spans product and exchange developments, regulatory change, technology innovation and operational optimisation. As specialists in exchange traded and OTC cleared derivatives, we work closely with internal partners and external market participants to support clients through the full lifecycle. Building strong client relationships and developing a deep understanding of our clients’ needs are central to how we work.

Your expertise: You have:

  • Extensive experience in the financial services industry.
  • A practical understanding of cleared derivatives, gained through hands on industry experience.
  • Proven experience working with clients in a relationship management, consulting, product specialist or solutioning capacity.
  • Experience in business analysis and solution design, including translating client requirements into deliverable outcomes and engaging a range of cross-functional stakeholders.

You are:

  • A strong verbal and written communicator with the ability to adapt to and influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Client centric, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for relationship outcomes.
  • Analytical and structured in your approach, able to break down complex client needs and evaluate a broad set of potential solutions.
  • A self-starter, comfortable operating independently while managing multiple client priorities in parallel.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Trading, Risk, Operations, Technology, Legal and external partners to deliver for clients.
