Your role
Are you an excellent communicator? Are you a target-driven individual? We\’re looking for someone like that who can:
- Introduce, develop, and maintain client relationships by understanding their specific needs, including goals, objectives, risk tolerance, and expectations.
- Stay informed about market developments and products, and incorporate this understanding into actionable ideas and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with clients, product group experts, traders, and other salespeople to channel client feedback and share information to better meet client needs.
- Provide first-class client service, supporting all aspects of each client\’s needs, with the goal of making UBS the firm of choice for doing business, including visiting companies and investors.
- Offer insights on stock reactions based on news flow, M&A, results, and company meetings feedback.
Your team
You will work as a Japanese specialist sales within the GEMPAC Equity Sales team in Global Markets, London. This team connects Global Research, traders, sales traders, Derivatives, Credit, Investors, and Companies, collaborating on pitches, deals, and ongoing feedback with ECM, Broking, and Global Banking.
Your expertise
- Knowledge of Japanese stocks and macroeconomics.
- Ability to understand trading dynamics to advise traders on share movements.
- Experience managing an alpha-portfolio and generating short-term ideas, including daily and weekly updates, in collaboration with the Access team for events.
- A proven track record with key clients.
- A university degree.
