Your role
We’re looking for a HOLT Investment Strategies Analyst to:
• Conduct quantitative research on alpha signals, market insights, and portfolio analytics
• Contribute to innovation and enhance the team’s infrastructure
• Run and present portfolio analytics to clients
• Collaborate with internal partners (QIS, Asset Management, Wealth Management, etc.) to design and deliver investment products for clients
• Design and maintain bespoke equity portfolio solutions leveraging proprietary HOLT data
Your team
You’ll be working in the HOLT Investment Strategies team in London which leverages the industry leading HOLT fundamental dataset to design, develop, and maintain systematic investment products. We are a client facing team and collaborate with many internal partners including Quantitative Investment Solutions (QIS), Asset Management, Trading, etc. providing a variety of investment solutions. You would be expected to help run our existing strategies while developing the skills to market our offering both internally and externally and ultimately work directly with clients to design bespoke portfolio solutions.
Your expertise
• Understanding of fundamental factors, portfolio theory and optimisation
• Advanced programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and SQL
• Passion for financial markets with an interest in taking on a client-facing role
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills (individual interaction as well as presentations to large groups)
• Inquisitive, self-motivated, team-oriented and demonstrate an ability to work in a time sensitive environment
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Quantitative Finance
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Machine Learning / AI
• Experience with Portfolio Optimisation / Risk Models such as Axioma / Barra
