Your role

Are you an analytical thinker with outstanding attention to detail, sound judgement and a relentless work ethic? Do you excel in demanding environments and enjoy translating complex financial and strategic questions into clear, persuasive materials for clients, investors and senior stakeholders?

  • Prepare high-quality marketing and transaction materials that distil industry dynamics, valuation considerations and strategic alternatives into clear, compelling recommendations for clients.
  • Contribute to differentiated ideas and thoughtful strategic perspectives that strengthen client dialogue and support origination efforts.
  • Support senior bankers in anticipating client priorities, executing against live opportunities and working seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain rigorous financial and valuation models across live transactions and strategic assignments, including M&A, IPOs, follow-ons, private capital raising and other real estate, lodging and leisure corporate finance situations.
  • Identify key issues early, assess alternatives with sound judgement and help drive practical, well-reasoned solutions under tight timelines.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure team in London, advising leading public and private companies, financial sponsors and other real estate-focused investors across the UK and broader European real estate market. Our team has a strong and growing franchise in the sector, with broad exposure across strategic advisory and capital markets transactions, and a track record of working on complex, high-profile situations for large-cap and mid-cap clients. You’ll play an important role in supporting advice to clients on a wide range of market and strategic matters, including M&A, capital raising, shareholder positioning, strategic reviews and broader corporate finance considerations. We are a demanding, collaborative team with high standards, where analysts are expected to take ownership early, contribute thoughtfully and develop quickly through direct exposure to senior bankers and live client situations. We are a lean team offering genuine learning curve and accelerated development for high performers.

Your expertise

  • Understanding of corporate finance, valuation and accounting fundamentals, with hands-on exposure to transaction execution, financial modelling and client presentation materials.
  • Ideally around 1 year of investment banking experience, or exceptional internship experience, from a top-tier advisory platform, investment bank or similarly rigorous corporate finance environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, with an outstanding academic record in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering or another highly analytical discipline.
  • Adaptable and intellectually agile, with the capacity to move quickly between RELL subsectors, transaction types and complex strategic situations across the real estate, lodging and leisure universe.
  • Analytical and execution skills, with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality financial analysis and presentation materials under tight deadlines.
  • Driven, intellectually curious and relentless in pursuit of excellence, with sound judgement and the highest standards of integrity.
  • Fluent in English and ideally proficient in another European language, reflecting the team’s client exposure across the UK and broader European real estate market.
