Your role

Do you want to work on high profile strategic transactions with leading Consumer & Retail clients? Are you analytical, detail oriented, and eager to develop strong technical and commercial skills? Are you motivated by a high intensity, high reward environment where you can make an impact from day one? We’re looking for an Analyst who can help us:

  • Make a difference for our clients and colleagues through creative thinking, hard work and dedication
  • Support the execution of M&A, ECM and financing transactions through rigorous analysis, modelling, and process coordination
  • Prepare high quality client materials, including pitchbooks, sector updates, valuation analyses, and transaction documentation
  • Make sound and balanced judgments and challenge the status quo (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory, and legal standards)
  • Motivate and inspire others by providing a vision of shared goals
  • Contribute to our positive culture and initiatives

Your team

You’ll be working in the Investment Bank’s GB Consumer & Retail Group in London. We originate and execute strategic transactions for leading corporate and financial sponsor clients in the Consumer & Retail sector.

Your expertise

  • 1 to 2 years of prior full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience, with a genuine interest in Consumer & Retail and motivation to deepen technical and industry expertise
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise under pressure, and deliver high quality output on tight timelines
  • Clear and concise communicator, with strong written and verbal skills
  • Eager to learn, ready to challenge themselves and motivated to join a highly successful team
  • A team player who takes responsibility and accountability for their work
  • University degree in any discipline, min 2:1 or equivalent
