Overview
We are looking for a motivated individual with 2-4 years of experience to join our Global Equity Strategy team which is part of the investment bank research unit at UBS. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative foundation, familiarity with financial data platforms, and a solid understanding of economics and equity strategy. This role offers exposure to high-impact research and collaboration across teams to shape market views and investment recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of equity strategy research
- Conduct data analysis using Bloomberg, Datastream, and other financial databases
- Build and maintain models and tools in Excel; basic Python skills are required
- Articulate investment views clearly in written and verbal formats for internal and external audiences
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including economics, quant, Strategists, and sector analysts
- Service clients (requests and meetings)
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, Datastream, and similar platforms
- Python and VBA
- Understanding of macroeconomics and its application to equity markets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to express complex ideas clearly
- Collaborative mindset and ability to manage inputs across multiple teams
