Your role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our GBP Swaps Franchise. This is a senior role, with responsibility for driving revenue and shaping strategy across the GBP swaps franchise.
We are looking for a GBP Swaps trader to:
• Lead the GBP swaps trading desk.
• keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities
• Deliver consistent P&L through active market making and risk management
• Follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
• Manage trading, execution, operational and compliance risk, amongst others
• Partner with sales and other trading teams to generate revenue and grow the client franchise

Your team
You’ll be joining a growing fixed income franchise, specifically working in the GBP Rates trading team in London. We trade a range of interest rate products across the GBP markets, and provide advice, solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. This benefits our corporate, institutional and wealth management clients. As a rates trader, you’ll play an important role in helping our clients identify and access the products and liquidity they need.
Your expertise
• Extensive track record in GBP Swaps Trading & deep understanding of UK markets
• Commercially driven with a clear focus on client franchise growth
• Proficiency to build analysis spreadsheets for RV analysis and risk modelling
• Fixed income analysis and modelling skills, with an ability to communicate trading ideas clearly
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics or other quantitative field
• Regulatory licenses to trade in London
