Your role
We are seeking an analyst or a junior associate to support the lead analyst and head of the Cap Goods team in equity research, as well as contribute to the broader team efforts. Ideal candidates have from graduate level up to three years of experience.
The main responsibilities, in close collaboration with the lead analyst, include:
- Modelling: Developing earnings models for companies, including forecasts and historical updates (primarily offshore).
- Client Requests: Responding to client inquiries through fact-finding, analysis, presentations, and writing.
- Reporting: Monitoring company reports, writing summaries of results, conference call comments, and sections of stock notes.
- Research Production: Conducting sector-wide and specific market or theme research, such as Data Centres, Industrial Automation, Construction, or Manufacturing. Producing historical analyses, forecasts, and assessing key players\’ competitive positioning.
- Materials Preparation: Creating and updating sector-wide materials like marketing decks, comparison sheets, and benchmarking reports.
- Client Engagement: Participating in client meetings and calls, and managing follow-up actions.
