Role Overview
Are your analytic and interpersonal skills adept at understanding complex systems? Are you savvy in managing risk? We are seeking a candidate to:
- Manage risks associated with electronic market-making in FX, Precious Metals (cash & EFPs), and non-deliverable Forwards.
- Price and hedge, primarily through algorithms, with human intervention during outages or extreme market events.
- Fine-tune complex systems and collaborate across teams such as sales, quant trading, and support to enhance performance.
- Work with Sales to identify opportunities to expand UBS's market footprint and participate in client meetings.
- Coordinate with Quant Traders and Development teams on pricing, hedging, and system improvements.
- Resolve system outages by working with Global Service Delivery and support functions.
- Gain understanding of market microstructure and exchange products.
- Adhere to regulations, compliance policies, desk policies, limits, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and technology teams, to develop product requirements and design specifications.
Location & Team
This role is part of the Global Markets Derivatives & Solutions team in London, focusing on pricing and hedging FX, Precious Metals, and NDFs via electronic channels.
