UBQ Materials is seeking a Technical Service Consultant (TSC) to support customers in processing our various UBQ products. As part of our mission to revolutionize material solutions with sustainability at the core, we need passionate professionals to drive technical excellence and customer success.

UBQ Materials is an advanced materials company that has developed a patented technology to convert unsorted household waste into a sustainable thermoplastic. By replacing conventional plastics, UBQ helps manufacturers reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining high material performance.
Your Mission
As a Technical Service Consultant, you will provide polymer transformation support to customers, ensuring seamless integration of UBQ products in various processing environments. Your expertise in injection molding, extrusion, and related techniques will help optimize product applications and enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for customers’ trials, primarily focusing on injection molding, with possible involvement in extrusion and rotomolding processes.
- Identify and implement quality improvements in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain effective communication and representation of UBQ at customer sites.
- Prepare timely trial reports, ideally within 24 hours of testing.
- Travel within the UK (short trips or up to 3 days as needed).
Job Requirements
- Experience in Chemical / Polymer / Industrial Engineering or related technical field and 5-10 years in Injection Molding Operations, Technical Customer Support, or as an Equipment Specialist in polymer processing.
- Strong knowledge of polymer conversion processes; experience in polypropylene applications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Ability to travel; valid driver’s license required.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages (German, French, Polish) are an advantage.
